Exploring Sustainable City Solutions
National Geographic and United Technologies set out to explore the future of sustainable urban environments around the world and asked us to bring the conversation to life.
To start a meaningful conversation, we needed informed voices – people working every day to make the cities of the world more green, less wasteful, and better places to live for future generations.
In Hong Kong, we developed a panel of experts from business, government and the community to speak about the sustainability challenges facing one of the world’s most developed urban centres.
In Abu Dhabi, we provided end-to-end event production and content development. Hosted at the Manarat Al Saadiyat centre for innovation and culture, 120 guests from business, academia and government joined leaders in aviation transport, urban design and environmental policy to explore issues such as urban sprawl, food waste, urban greening, species protection and renewable energy.
Along the way, New Romans’s network of leading media professionals documented individual stories and developed thought-provoking content for National Geographic’s global audience.
